A trio of Geordie Shore stars are ‘selling’ personalised messages for Christmas.
Memmo, a platform letting fans and businesses purchase personalised birthday or Christmas greetings, well?\wishes, shoutouts or even wedding proposals, from famous faces, recently launched in the UK and among the British celebs featured on the platform are former Geordie Shore star and show original Charlotte Crosby and current cast members Chloe Ferry and Anthony Kennedy.
Celebrities on Memmo, which also include X Factor’s famous voice over guy Peter Dickson, Tiger King star Carole Baskin, football legend Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock and model turned singer Samantha Fox, set their own pricing (with most greetings priced between ??5-400), and have the option to give some or all of the money earned through memmo to a charitable cause of their choice.
A message from Charlotte and Chloe will set you back for ??50, it’s ??40 for a greeting from Chloe, while Geordie Shore newcomer Anthony’s price tag is ??20.
Speaking about joining up to memmo, Charlotte said: “Whether it be video messages for a friends birthday, to cheer someone up or just for banter…whatever you want I’ll do.”
Since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, memmo has seen demand for its fun and lighthearted greetings skyrocket.
In April 2020, the number of celebrity sign-ups doubled when compared to March, and video orders increased by 300%.
Charlotte has been kept busy during lockdown with the renovation of her mansion in Houghton-le Spring, as well as hosting clothing brand In The Style’s Black Friday sale, while Chloe has been confirmed for the new series of Celebs Go Dating which will see her move into a huge house to film with the likes of Curtis Pritchard and Wayne Lineker.
Keen MMA fighter Anthony joined Geordie Shore for series 21 at the end of last year, with the episodes going out on MTV over the summer.
He was one of three newcomers, alongside Barnsley lad Louis Shaw and former X Factor finalist Amelia Lily.
